Open Meets

Coalville Swimming Club are holding their inaugural Summer Solstice open meet on 7th July 2024 and would like to invite entries from all clubs. On offer are 50m and 100m races in all 4 strokes, as well as a 200IM and 200 Freestyle (for those swimmers aged 11+). Ages are age on date.

Age groups are  9/10, 11/12, 13/14, 15/16, 17/over, with medals being awarded  to the top 3 Open/Male and Female swimmers in each age group for each event. 

Licensed to Level 3, we are able to offer swimmers the opportunity to compete in a new 8 lane pool.  The pool will be equipped with electronic timing, anti-turbulence lane ropes and backstroke starting ledges. There is free onsite carparking, as well as a free overflow carpark just 3 minutes walk from the pool. There is also no charge for coaches/team managers (lunchtime refreshments may be purchased for a small fee). 

Entries close on 14th June. 

All entrants will be awarded with a commemorative duck to celebrate our first meet! You'd be quackers to miss it!
