Join us for the Coalville Swimming Club Annual Summer Solstice Meet, taking place on Sunday, 22nd June 2025 at the Whitwick & Coalville Leisure Centre (LE67 3FE).

This Level 3 licensed open meet is a fantastic opportunity for swimmers aged 9 and over to race in a friendly, fast-paced environment. The event is open to all Swim England Category 2 members and features a full schedule of sprint and middle-distance events across all four strokes.

Meet Details

• Date: Sunday 22nd June 2025

• Venue: Whitwick & Coalville Leisure Centre (8-lane, 25m pool)

• License: Level 3 3EM250974

• Age Groups: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & over (Age on day)

• Events Include:

  • 50m & 100m in all strokes

  • 200m Freestyle & Individual Medley (for swimmers aged 11+)

• Entry Fee: £7.50 per event

• Entry Deadline: Midnight, Friday 30th May 2025 (or when full)

Awards & Format

• Heat Declared Winners format

• Top 3 Medals awarded per age group and gender

• Mixed-age and mixed-gender heats seeded by entry time

• Live results available online

Entry Standards

• Upper Limit Times apply

• No 'NT' (No Time) entries allowed – coach estimates accepted

• Converted long-course (50m) times accepted

• ‘Time Only’ entries may be accepted if the meet is not full

Spectator Info

• £5 per session / £8 full day (concession: £3 / £5)

• Limited seating – rotation encouraged

• No food/hot drinks poolside; lockers available (£1 coin)

Additional Notes

• Swimmers without a Competitive Start Award must start in the water

• Clubs must supply officials if entering more than 7 swimmers

• All poolside personnel must display valid Swim England accreditation

• No photography or mobile phone use in changing areas

• No late or poolside entries accepted

Please see attached a picture of our fabulous new CSC Croc Charms. 

These will be available to buy on the entry desk at the gala this sunday. Only £3.50 each. 

Following this they will be available to buy from me at training and will also be added to out club shop on Swim Manager. 

Payment can be made by cash or card on the entry desk or bank transfer if purchasing from me at training. 

I can't wait to see lots of crocs lined up poolside proudly showing our club badge!
