Joining the Club

Coalville Swimming Club is a growing competitive and successful swimming club, so the pressure on training sessions is high.

All of our coaches are qualified as ASA level 1 or ASA level 2 coaches/teachers. We are very lucky as we have several swimmers/parents who also help-out on the poolside regularly.

If your child loves swimming and wants to progress their swimming skills, to qualify for a trial you must be able to achieve the following criteria as a minimum standard:

• 9 years and unders – 50M confident swimmer
• 10 years and over – 100M confident swimmer

If you wish to join the club you will need to attend a trial before joining.

Trials

Trials for all potential club swimmers are held on Friday evenings 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm at Ashby Leisure and Lido.  This is takes place normally over a three-week period.

Following the trial, successful applicants will be sent relevant paperwork to complete on-line with details of how to make monthly and annual payments.  Once everything is completed you will be notified of your training sessions.
